This 1.5 hour workshop will focus on developing the basics for bars. Gymnasts will focus on building sound technique, as well as exploring variations of each skill. Skills covered: - Upward and Back Hip circle - Swinging technique - Squat on - Transitions to high bar - Handstand flat back - Handspring - Half on Pre-Requisites In order to attend this workshop, gymnasts must be able to *support their own body weight on their hands *solid basic shapes (front/back support, dish, arch) *be comfortable being upside down *ability to hang unsupported *good springboard technique *squat on vault
